That's kind of a funny story...I was in freshman year of high school when I realized that all of my classmates were making fun of my green eyeshadow that I wore every single day. It wasn't the shadow that was ugly, but the way I applied it....up to my brows. So...one day, I went on youtube, found a lot of videos on how to apply make-up and that's how I started.
2. What is your all time favourite brand? What's your favourite product from that brand?
My all time favorite brand is Urban Decay with the Naked Palette as my favorite product .
3. Where do you get your inspiration from?
Hmm....I get my inspiration from everything bright and colorful ...flowers, pictures, nature, drinks
4. Favourite tool?
Now that's a hard one....I couldn't have done all of my make-up looks without my brushes...so....My brush collection does that count as a favorite tool?
5. Have you gone to school for this? Or is this more of a natural talent?
Noo...no school for me...I learned it all on my own from youtube and then by practicing on my own eyes . There's a tradition here in Romania, when you have your 1 year old birthday, your family brings you a plate full of things...pen and paper, car keys, money, jewelery, make-up products, and it is said that whatever you pick, it will determine your passions in life. So...naturally I picked a lipstick, an eyeshadow and a mirror . So yeah...it's more of a natural talent.
6. Do you make a living off of your work or is it more of a hobby?
At first it started as a hobby, but now I'm working in television make-up...and I'm a freelance make-up artist weddings and proms and stuff
7. Which design of yours is your favourite?
I love all of my designs, it's not fair to pick one....but ok my favorite of all is probably in my cocktail series, Cuba Libre :
8. How long do your designs usually take?
It depends on the complexity of the design....from 15 min to 30 min
9. How long have you been doing this?
Well...I became interested in make-up in freshman year, but in love with make-up, I'd have to say in senior year of high school...which means about 3 years now.
10. Any advice for beginners?
Don't give up if it doesn't turn out great the first time, you need to practice to get it right.
